We work to welcome new girls and adults into Girl Scouting while supporting the retention of existing members. A strong membership base helps ensure healthy troops, engaged volunteers, and a vibrant community.

This includes:

• Supporting recruitment efforts

• Encouraging formation of fully staffed, sustainable troops

• Promoting timely membership renewal of girls and adults

Participation in council programs provides girls with meaningful leadership, financial literacy, and skill-building experiences. Our community supports troops during council programs and encourages broad participation across all levels.

• Fall Product Program participation

• Cookie Program participation

• Supporting troop leaders with resources and communication

Volunteers are the foundation of our community. We prioritize clear communication, access to training, and leadership development to ensure volunteers feel supported and confident in their roles.

• Encouraging completion of required training

• Supporting new troop leaders

• Maintaining a fully staffed and sustainable Community Team

Clear processes help our community operate smoothly and support both troops and volunteers effectively.

• Timely submission of required finance reports

• Completion of troop planning tools

• Clear expectations and shared timelines

We celebrate the accomplishments of girls and volunteers who go above and beyond in their Girl Scout journeys.

This includes:

• Supporting girls pursuing Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards

• Recognizing volunteers through council and community awards

• Hosting appreciation and recognition opportunities
